Invisible Setting
The Invisible Setting was invented in France over two hundred years ago. The main purpose of this type of setting is to give the impression that a number of smaller diamonds are in fact one much larger diamond. A difficult feat indeed! To accomplish this particular goal, these small diamonds are grouped together so that the setting is hidden from view … and hence, invisible. Besides giving the appearance of one large diamonds, this setting also is known for its ability to glitter, glitter, and glitter some more.
